Hi, I’m Ben, School Psychologist by day and unapologetic nerd by night.
I’ve spent years supporting students and families, helping people grow and connect with themselves and others in meaningful ways. But when the workday ends, I dive headfirst into building worlds for my friends. For me, Tabletop Role Playing Games are more than just a game. They're stories, friendships, catharsis, and creativity all wrapped up in one beautiful experience.
Inspired by the immersive storytelling and production quality of shows like Dimension 20 and Critical Role, I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t it be amazing to play in a space like that?”. Then later, “What would creating a space like that entail?”
And that spark of imagination led to The Mind’s Eye Experience™.
This project is my love letter to in-person play. As online sessions and virtual tabletops become the norm, what made tabletop role playing games so special is quietly slipping away. The laughter that shakes the table, the shared snacks, the collective cheer of a nat 20, or the silence that falls when the party is faced with a heartbreaking choice. I grew up with that kind of magic. I want so desperately to protect it. And I want to do that by keeping in-person play a priority.
So I built The Mind’s Eye Experience™ to do just that: to bring premium, immersive, movie-set-quality (or as close as possible) gaming spaces into your local game stores. Spaces where anyone can come together, unplug, and share stories in real life again.
This is my dream. And if you’re someone who still believes in the power of gathering around a table with friends to roll some dice and tell a story—you’re exactly who I built this for.

At The Mind’s Eye Experience™, our mission is rooted in a deep love for storytelling, friendship, and in-person connection. We believe that immersive tabletop gaming should be as accessible as possible—not just a luxury reserved for the lucky few.
But we also acknowledge the realities of building something sustainable. There’s a constant tension between offering these experiences at a price that’s fair and reachable, and generating the revenue needed to maintain, improve, and expand what we’ve built. Each booth, each upgrade, each new location comes with real costs—both financial and human.
Our goal is to strike that balance with integrity. We aim to offer a premium experience that feels personal, handcrafted, and inspiring—while ensuring the business behind it is strong enough to grow. During the infancy of this business, every dollar will go directly back into improving The Mind’s Eye Experience™, whether through maintenance, innovation, or bringing this magic to more communities.
We’re not chasing profits—we’re chasing sustainability. And we’re doing it so more people can gather around a table, unplug from screens, and be transported somewhere unforgettable.
Who we are
Welcome to The Mind’s Eye! We are a Utah based business that partners with local game stores to deliver plug-and-go immersive table top role playing game spaces. Imagine a soundproof booth right in your store, where players get fog, lighting effects, surround sound, display screens, and more—all available at the push of a button. It’s like a mini movie set for tabletop RPGs.
The idea is: I build it, install it, and your store gets to offer premium game sessions without lifting a finger. You don’t pay rent or buy equipment, and it brings in more foot traffic. Best of all, you gain another unrealized income stream. All I ask are three things. Space for this installation, an agreeable revenue split from session bookings, and simple maintenance. That's it!
